Guides

What is a Guide?

Guides are girls aged from 10 to 14. They are the third branch in the Irish Girl Guides. The Guide uniform is a blue hoodie with a blue or pink T-shirt, white necker with pink and blue Celtic knots and a navy woggle. Girls do not have to have been a Brownie or a Ladybird before becoming a Guide.

The Irish Girl Guides have a number of cottages and campsites which can be used by Irish and International groups. They are well spread out around Ireland and provide a great choice of options for your Unit Camp or Pack Holiday.

Help us build the future of Irish Girl Guides by sponsoring a block on the LEGO Wall at our National Training Centre.

Be part of the continued development of our National Training Centre, helping us equip and empower the girls and women of the future.

Sponsor a LEGO block and we'll personalise it with your name, Unit name, or a dedication. You can choose to leave your block blank, celebrate your family, honour someone special, or sponsor a block in memory of a loved one.

Every block represents a lasting contribution to the future of Irish Girl Guides. Together, we can continue to develop our National Training Centre, ensuring it remains a welcoming, inspiring, and well-equipped home where girls and young women can learn, lead, and thrive for generations to come.

Join our LEGO Wall and leave your mark on the future of the Irish Girl Guides.

Each LEGO block is €50. To sponsor a LEGO block and enable our girls and young women to have a National Training Centre, please select the number of blocks below which you would like to sponsor.
Donations of €250 or over in a year are eligible for tax relief. €250 is actually worth €362 to Irish Girl Guides – at no extra cost to you. We will email you the relevant form if this applies to you.
